In the darkest days of the pandemic, a silver lining appeared where communities came together and got creative in bringing joy to each other and connecting us in unexpected ways. Macaroni Kid Naperville is trying to keep that joy and excitement going into this next Halloween season with Boo Bags!

It's simply a little Halloween treat that you leave on a neighbor’s doorstep to surprise them! A BOO Bag is a basket/bag/bucket filled with Halloween treats, toys and goodies. There are no rules on how big or small it has to be, just an act of kindness to bring a smile to someone's face.
But we're putting a twist on that! Macaroni Kid Naperville puts together exclusive Naperville Boo Bags. They will be hand delivered to 100+ Families in Naperville with the help of our amazing partners and Sponsors ! These high-quality fun themed reusable bags will also be great for trick or treating to hold all the candy you collect on Halloween! Each family that is Boo’d will receive a goodie bag filled with treats, crafts, freebies, coupons, candy, and more! Then, you can follow the instructions on the flyer and "Boo" 1 more family with the second bag you receive…think of all the spooky fun and kindness we can spread throughout Naperville! Are you ready to start Boo’ing your friends and neighbors? Feel free to make copies of the flyer you are Boo'd with or print off a copy below!
The Official Naperville Boo Bags are 100% FREE. That’s right, we will be delivering the bags to your house, and you won't pay for anything. How is this possible? This is possible because of the amazing local Sponsors who help fund this project.

After you've been BOO'd by us, you should "BOO" 1 more families of your choosing with a basket or bag filled with Halloween goodies and treats (the second plastic bag of goodies we left inside your bag). You will make your neighbors smile from the unexpected surprise on their doorstep! Make sure when you are BOOing you are quiet! It's supposed to be a mystery who is BOOing who!
Post publicly on social media using the hashtag #NapervilleBooBags sharing the Boo Bag flyer, or showing off your goodies, or the flyer.
1. You MUST be a Macaroni KID Naperville subscriber – you can sign up for FREE here → SIGN UP HERE
3. You must enter your entire address – i.e.: 1234 Main Street, Naperville, Illinois, 60540. We can’t deliver BOO baskets without a complete address. SUBDIVISION is very important.
4. You MUST live in Naperville.
5. We cannot BOO apartments or condo buildings. We need to be able to access your door from the street. You may still sign up, but you may need to pick up your bag on a designated date.
6. You must have the intention to BOO at least one (1) more family– that’s the whole fun of this!
7. There will be 1 Bag per House – not per child.
8. There are only 100 Spots available – we will leave the form open until deliveries begin and use a randomizer to choose 100 families to receive boo bags! You may be added to a waitlist, (sometimes people change their mind, there are duplicates, or addresses are undeliverable) but this does not guarantee a BOO bag
9. Deliveries will begin the second or third week of October. We will try to send an email before deliveries letting you know we are coming around BOO’ing. Please inform spouses and family members!
10. If it is raining, we will not BOO that day. I don’t want to leave your baskets outside in the rain because the contents inside will be destroyed.
11. Macaroni KID Naperville takes no responsibility for stolen baskets or baskets that may have had critters in them.
12. Please be sure your house number is visible from the street. We don’t want to deliver to the wrong house, but we are human, and mistakes can happen.
